JJWC Holiday Kwanaa Celebration

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we are celebrating, us !!

Please join us for a very special KWANZAA-themed extravaganza planned this holiday season for our Westchester County Families, Associates and Friends on Sunday December 18th, 2022 from 12-4pm, for an afternoon of cultural appreciation and family UMOJA at the VIP Country Club in New Rochelle, New York.

We will start the event with a happy connection hour at 12pm hosted by our Father’s Auxiliary Chair and resident DJ extraordinaire, the Legendary Chris Washington. Families will take a moment to share libations and yummy eats while connecting and sharing in the joy of the holiday season and receive a preview of what the day will be like on the dance floor with our Jacks and Jills.  So come early to take in the full experience of the day.

We will then move into the main event space at 1pm, where we will learn and participate in a Kwanzaa experience, complete with African Drummers and Dancers celebrating the rich history of our black culture. During the event, there will be a black-owned business expo, and families will have the opportunity and be encouraged to support and patronize our invited multicultural vendors.

We are excited and cannot wait to create the memories as we capture how WE spend the day in love and Christmas joy and living in the principles that we ARE ONE, we uplift each other, and we celebrate each other because we are our brothers and sisters keeper. Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa!
