JJWC - Carole Robertson/Jack and Jill Day - Saturday, September 21, 2024

Carole Robertson Day is in memory of Carole who was a member of the Birmingham Jack and Jill Chapter teen group. Carole was killed in the infamous 16 Street Baptist Church bombing on September 15, 1963. While the loss of lives was senseless and devastating, Carole’s death resonates with us because she belongs to our Jack and Jill Family. Her mother was the first Regional Director of the Southeastern Region. On September 21st we will celebrate her life with a Homecoming themed celebration and by bringing families together for playtime and fun.

• Guests attending the event will be charged $75 per person aged 7 and above, 
• Children under 7 can attend for free. 

It is important for us to have an accurate headcount of all attendees for catering purposes, so please provide this information when confirming your attendance on the website.

This year, in tribute to Carole Robertson, we are upholding the tradition of joy and camaraderie with the theme of Homecoming & Tailgating. Don't forget to bring your top tailgating essentials - chairs, tables, blankets, and more. A prize awaits the best setup! For our Community Service Initiative, we kindly ask Carole Robertson Day attendees to consider donating family-friendly board games, card games, and other indoor activities for students in after-school programs at the Youth Bureaus in Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and White Plains. You can drop off your donations at the registration table at Hackley in designated boxes.
